Description
Enrico Marcato entered the world of wine after finishing his studies at the University of Milan. He has gained very valuable experience working in California and Australia, and headed up a project to renovate a winery in Kazakhstan.
Throughout many different projects and challenges, Enricos’ focus has remained on his family wine, and the desire to share it with the world. Marcato Direct was created as a means of distributing his wines. As a way for consumers to gain an understanding of the land he knows best, he crafted ranges of wines: I Prandi, La Giareta, Origini and Duo.
I Prandi wines are produced from grapes grown close to Verona and La Giareta from Vicenza. The Origini range was produced to show native grapes with their unique characteristics but in an entry level range to suit restaurant lists and consumers. All of our ranges are produced to a high standard and reflect the taste of their origin.
