Description
“Pampered by mediterranean sun, shaped by the alpine landscape, prepared by experienced winemakers and prized by connoisseurs throughout the world.”
The Alto Adige region, nestled between Austria and Switzerland is one of Italy’s smallest winegrowing regions. Wine cultivation stretches from terraced slopes at the foot of high alpine peaks in the North to vineyards in the mediterranean-likelandscape in the South.
The wines in this varied landscape require work by hand as a mechanical harvest is not possible on such steep slopes. The winegrowers committed to this terrain produce authentic wines with original character with the fresh mineralogy and clearly structured white wines at the peak of Italian wine production.
